Beyond Standardized Lessons-

Celebrating The Art of Teaching

Tuesday, May 6 from 6 to 8 PM. 

Pre-Registration is not required.

Beyond Standardized Lessons-Celebrating The Art of Teaching, a public symposium and reception, will be held at The Waldorf School of Cape Cod on National Teacher Day.  Two former Waldorf teachers who now teach in public schools will speak about the importance of creativity in teaching.

Attendees at this assembly of grades students will take in a variety of curriculum-based performances by all of the students in grades 1 through 8. Children welcome to attend with parents. Pre-registration required.

Did you know that in addition to the core subjects of mathematics, science, history, and language arts, all of the students in our grades program undertake 8 years of French, 8 years of handwork, 8 years of instrumental music, 4 years of woodwork, and 3 years of Latin? Singing, movement, drama, and fine arts complement the core and special subjects to form the integrated curriculum that is unique to Waldorf schools. Your child will love learning at the only Waldorf school in Southeastern Massachusetts, so come for a visit and find out for yourself why Waldorf works! Faculty members will be available throughout this event to answer questions about Waldorf education and Admissions staff will be on hand to provide information about the enrollment process. Attendees will also be able to view student work in all of classrooms. Children welcome. No registration required..

Arts Night

Wednesday, February 6, (snow date is February 13)

Join us for an evening of visual and performing art! Students in the upper grades will commence the evening with musical performances. Attendees may stroll through the classrooms to meet faculty and view artwork from all of the grades students. Children welcome to attend with parents.
